so...today i went to that one science olympiad meeting
and towards the end when everybody was leaving it was just me, margaret, and nithish.
we were talking about some very random things and then margaret and nithish made a bet.
seeing as i'm referee...here are the rules

1. margaret has to be moderately nice to nithish for a week
2. nithish can't run away screaming or get freaked out or any of that
3. if nithish wins, margaret has to do that "secret handshake" with him
4. if margaret wins, nithish has to not say anything perverted for a week
5. margaret doesn't need to give nithish advance warning of when she's gonna start being nice
6. if nithish is absent one day of the week that margaret is being nice, they start over the next week
7. if margaret wins and nithish says something perverted, he has to do two weeks of non-pervertedness starting the next week.
8. if nithish is absent one day of the week that he's supposed to be un-perverted, he starts over again the next week.

guess that's it. hahaha, i'm going to enjoy this...

my thoughts- and people wonder why i love being taiwanese/chinese????


hahaha, during holidays, you get to eat like CRAZY, man. and nobody even cares if you hog all the food. seriously, i've already had 2 new year dinners and chinese new year is...tomorrow?
so...yesterday, we went to some fancy restaurant and i saw karen there! and she followed me into the bathroom...got a bit freaked out there. and then, like, todayz, we went to 99 and got a bunch of food and my mom started cooking massive amounts for dinner. and we had, of course, the traditional fish and then we had chicken and duck. OMG, i luv duck.

and then of course, there's the fact that we get tons of money. all my relatives back in taiwan gave me like...NT$1000 which is only about...$30. but considering the amount of family members i still have back there...DANG, i made a lot today. plus, my grandmother gave me a $2000 banknote, and they're REALLY rare. parents haven't given me anything yet but they're saying around...$50-100 depending on how generous they're feeling.

also, you get to go to a bunch of festivals and stuff. which would be SO much better back in taiwan. cuz...you go the the midnight marketplaces and there's like 2304973876 more people than usual and you get to play all the games on discount and there's people selling food everywhere and everythings on sale and you see people you know like every 10 seconds. *sighs* i miss taiwan. still...it's nice here too. chinese new year festival this saturday at school. go. it'll be fun.

i had hot chocolate! cuz...my neighbors had this gigantic bag and we were pulling random christmas presents out of it and i just happened to get hot chocolate. :). omg, it was WAY too sweet. i only drank half of it but i have a headache from all that sugar. D:

hahaha, we went to stone ranch today to talk to all the kids there about recycling and all that. lol, i said crap into the mic, dunno if anybody heard it. wow...we were reading right off the script and we hadn't rehearsed and according to my bro...nobody knew what we were saying. awwwww, i miss elementary school. OMG, mrs. iamale (gah, i still think of her as ms. recame) had a son! she named him...enzo! pretty sure that's not how you spell it tho.

disease detectives today. i'm supposed to be alternate but i'm one of the best in the class. oh well, i'm sure dyan and susan will still slaughter me after they study. and anatomy was canceled...AGAIN. lol, last time almost nobody knew so me, dyan, margaret, akila, nadia, and lauren were running around school for an hour and a half with nothing to do.

Big Bear Pictures :)

so...my dad's going to Washington DC for some smart scientific meeting thing.

and he's meeting some family friends. and i haven't seen their daughter in like...6 years but we used to be best friends and he wanted me to put a bunch of pictures on his laptop to show her. and...i was looking at some of the pictures from Big Bear and i just realized how pretty it was there!

this is from the lake when we went by while hiking. and my mom was freaking out cuz it was almost dark and we were all by ourselves but i convinced her to stop and take pictures cuz...it was so PRETTY! i luv sunsets. :) and like...some of the lake was frozen and i was trying to skip rocks (smart, i know) and when i threw the rocks on, they started sliding across the ice.

and then, i tried it with chunks of ice and it looked really cool. so...my mom was getting annoyed so we had to head back but i wish we coulda stayed longer.

oh well...happens every year, might as well get used to it
dang it, my mom made me promise that for 2009 i'm not going to purposely avoid every camera i see...and that at the promotion she has every right to make me look outrageously girly and take 98723458 pictures to torment me with later in life. D:
well..it was either that or miss the DC trip which we already paid money for so...
anyway...happy new year everybody and take every chance you can get to take a picture of me. it's the one year you'll be able to do that without me losing my temper
