gah, i just spent the past 5 hours at the mall. D:

somehow or other, all the stuff i got was on sale. moms are amazing...
anyway, christmas is coming!
yesterday, my bro and i (happy amy? :D) went around the neighborhood giving out presents
mostly candy canes and cheap stuffed animals and all
but everybody was like: OMG THANK YOU!
me: ohkay then...
our christmas tree is looking very skimpy this year
no more enormous presents hogging all the space
it looks so empty :(
i'm getting a lot of gift cards this year...
oh well, i don't care that much about presents
it's the love that comes with them that i treasure

haha, well the other day my dad used the phrase "when pigs fly"
so...i felt like posting something but nothings been going on in life
and i was playing with my layout and stuff and i thought of that and i'm like: hey, i'll use that for my description
look up, i bet you didn't notice it before...that tiny print underneath the title
anywho, i was thinking about it and picturing some pigs with angel wings but..suddenly...i thought...why do flying pigs have to have wings?
think about it...whoever gave those pigs wings have to have some magical abilities and all that crap.
so...why bother wasting magic to create wings so that pigs have to work to fly?
why don't you just make the pigs fly with about thinking about it?
whoever thought of giving them angel wings was obviously having a joke.
so...a bunch of fat pigs stuck in midair with no idea how to get down...wouldn't that be much better?

and not just cuz i get a bunch of free presents. december's the start of winter! and...back where i used to live...around now it would start snowing. i love the snow. it's so...white and clean and shiny and...cold. i love the cold. :D
yay, we're going to big bear this winter break. only for about two days though. seeing as everybody in my family detests teh cold and thinks i'm crazy.
today was boring...
last night i couldn't fall sleep so this morning i was like...dead.
in math, i was staring into space for at least 30 minutes after i finished hw
science...i was doodling half the time...trying to draw perfect circles.
oh yeah, to everybody who saw the vine thing i was drawing in ss, i FINALLY finished. just a few minutes ago. took longer than i thought.

in the morning, i watched The Andromeda Strain just cuz it's due tomorrow at the library
pretty confusing
it's about some extraterrestrial bacteria thing that kills people in 5 seconds or makes them go insane and commit suicide
and it kills a whole town except for two people and this group of scientists is trying to find out how it works without getting killed themselves and the president gives them 5 days before he destroys the bacteria thing
and somehow, they manage to make 5 days long enough for a two hour movie
so...there's a bunch of dead bodies and gory stuff and they cuss in every other scene

anyway...spent the afternoon cooking with my mom

and the first thing i said was, how am i supposed to eat turkey? XD

lol, anyway... we decorated the cake

let's see... teh first one is all the different colored frosting after we mixed it with food coloring. the second one is the cake cut in half with normal colored frosting and strawberries all over it. the third is sruthi putting blue frosting on the cake. and the last is momo putting pink flowers on the strawberries

and afterwards, we checked out the Twilight soundtrack on itunes. Robert Pattinson is the WORST singer ever! check it out...search Never Think on youtube. do it. you know you want to... (:

and we watched Bride and Prejudice, interesting movie...some of it was very unoriginal and very...Indian. otherwise...moderately ok

i have absolutely nothing to do this summer. maybe that's why i'm blogging so often.

i had piano yesterday, it was pretty boring, did a whole bunch of theory. i really hate theory, why do we have to do it? unless, we decide to start composing music it doesn't really matter. or, like my teacher, u have to listen to the "voices" in teh music. me: *blink blink* huh?

oh, right HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOFU! yep, it's tofu's birthday. but, she happens to be in taiwan and hasn't been on her email in a long time so waht's the point of sending her an email? nvm, i'm sending her an email, she probably doesn't even know i have a blog.

that was one of the randomest things i've ever done. note: ONE OF THE most randomes things. XD, u don't wanna hear about the other ones...

what a boring summer...

i was right, this summer is boring.
i don't have anything to do today too.

oh well, i'm going to taiwan in july! yepyep, staying for a month. the problem is, i have to miss registration and wake up at 6 on the first day of school to do make up registration. :P

i haven't been to taiwan since 4th grade. and that was in the winter. right now it's the summer. i'm gonna die. all the heat, all the sun, all the ultraviolet rays.
at least taiwan has a bunch of awesome places.
there's not that many theme parks but i know there's a hotel that has a bunch of water related stuff actually inside it. it's kind of like soak city in a hotel. there's even an imitation of the ocean that uses salt water. and has waves.
oh yess, the ocean. taiwan has really good beaches too. man, i haven't gone swimming since EVER.
oh, and i really don't wanna go to my dad's place. there's no air conditioning. at all! in a country where it averages 90-100 everyday in the summer!
yeah, it's ironic cuz my dad used to be richer but now his mom hates all modern technology and my mom used to poor but now, her mom watches tv all day.
but they both live in pretty small houses. or in my mom's case, a pretty big apartment.

ANYWAY, we're touring all taiwan. we're going to see those famous waterfalls' whose names i forgot, and a bunch of hotels, and the beaches, and those places you go on long road trips when you're so bored u could start strangling your brother for singing those annoying songs. i'm not sure what you call it in english.
but, it doesn't really make sense cuz all of taiwan is smaller than california. from one end to the other is like from san diego to los angeles (a little more tho).

ok, why am i talking about this?
the main idea is that i'm going to taiwan in july and coming back in august.
oh, and i can't blog when i'm in taiwan. they only hve on computer at my mom's. none at my dad's.

SCHOOL'S OUT!

lol, usually people post about the last day of school ON the last day of school. not, ummmm, 4 days afterward. XD

nothing actually happened on the last day. orchestra played at the promotion and it was extremely hot, not helped that we had to wear all black. and then the seventh graders were allowed to stay and watch the promotion. that was boring. a bunch of speeches, awards, and then the PE coaches calling out the name of every eighth grader.
then, we went to class and all we did was watch movies. we watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory with Mrs./Ms.(not sure which) Timmis. Then, when we went up to Ms. DeCarlo she had a substitute and we had to watch a movie from 2000! about a dog called "Skip."
but nobody was really watching the movie. lol, we were all talking and signing yearbooks. and then mary came in and started hugging everybody.
ashley came too and stayed the whole time. she still doesn't want to be in the homogenous class. she knows EVERYBODY! and she's all worried that she's gonna fail compared to the rest of us. but, really, we don't do hard work. i'm not gonna start ranting again cuz i did last time.

well, i walked home, with margaret, momo, sruthi, nargis, akila, nadia, and sameer. sruthi forgot the keys to her house and her mom wouldn't answer the phone. lol, i think she and nargis went by the back door. or maybe they just hung out at the swimming pool until her mom got home. XD.
anyway, they were STILL trying to find out who jungwoo likes. lol, they're so off. yep, i just said that sruthi. kill me when we get back to school but it's true.

yesterday, i went to jamba juice as a kind of good bye party thing for joyce (chou.) lol, only 8 people showed up. but we bought a bunch of ice cream and got hyper. XD.
if my whole summer's gonna be like this i'm gonna die. i mean, i signed up for the summer reading program at the library on friday and i'm already done with 10 hours!

people always talk about how summer rocks but that's only if you ahve anything planned. otherwise, it's SO boring. people always hate school, but without it, we'd have absolutely nothing to do.

I haven't posted in a long time so I guess I should.

ummmmm, what's on my mind right now?

oh, MS. DECARLO AND ALL HER STUPID PROCASTINATING AND ASSIGNING 5000 PROJECTS FOR ONE WEEK!

i mean really, i know it's the end of the year but all those tests?
and all my other teachers are ok, i mean, math finals are SUPPOSED to be at the end of the year. we don't ahve any other tests in science. end of year concert: hmmmmm, maybe it's named that because it's in the beginning of the year, YEAH, THAT MAKES SENSE!

and then, ms. decarlo. omg, she's one of the worst teachers i've ever had. she thinks we're SOOO LOUD but none of our other teachers have a problem. and of course she's always going off topic and then blaming us for being behind the other class. hmmm, maybe that's cuz u give us useless projects that are due in like 2 months and give us 5 days for the important stuff. and, we gave her our roman eulogies in the first trimester. WE STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN THEM BACK! so now, she says that since she was SO BUSY (yeah, right, she plays solitaire in class!)she's just gonna keep them to remember us by. and when we all wnated to know our grades she goes, why? i mean seriously, we put a lot of hard work into that(at least some of us did)! and we want to know how good we are so we can improve.

anyway, we have a test tomorrow, King of Shadows folder tomorrow, and poetry anthology due on friday. I we just had a bunch of math testing and a social studies quiz. i understand if she has to give more tests then the rest of our teachers cuz she's our main teacher but really!

oh, forgot to add that she's so RACIST AND STEREOTYPICAL! when we were talking about the mexican border fence thingamabob she said that she thought everybody who came here in the past 20 years should go back to their countries! and when we countered that there were already too many people in our countries she said that's our government's fault for allowing us to have like 5 children. uh, news flash: some americans have 5 children. and most asians only have like 2.
yeah, our class is like made up of asians cuz we're the GATE students. And then she says she always thought that asians were quiet once when we were being realy loud and we started yelling about stereotypes and she sits there going, "see!" and she admits herself that she hates dumb people.

talking about ms. decarlo i'm reminded of max. he thinks carbon dioxide is GOOD for the environment! and he doesn't actually think global warming is occuring. he was laughing about random stuff when we learned about reproduction in science. meanwhile, everybody else is gagging in horror (XD). he wanted to join ecofuture but later he threw a bottle into the trash can right in front of us! and he starts talking about how the war in iraq is good cuz it reveals the rest of the world to all the suffering going on. um, yeah, that suffering is BECAUSE of the war. there's actually a decline in terrorism but there's more people around to get hurt and as he said the media pays more attention so it all seems so horrible.

ok, why am i talking about this? i went from not know anything to like 10 paragraphs. from ms. decarlo to the war and media....

Birthday

I got an award today cuz of recycling(ecofuture link). And an awesome shirt. And I was on FNN.
That was SOOOOOOOOO CHEESY! Ask anybody you want who happens to watch it.

And my birthday's coming up so the babysitter got me an album to put all my quarters in. My mom keeps forgetting to get me one so I had them all lined up on this puzzle for learning the states.

THAT'S RIGHT MY BIRHTDAY'S COMING! And sadly, Dyan is going to get me a very late present. Oh well.

I was kinda blank about what I wanted at school so here's a list.

STAR Testing

I did die...
I'm really a zombie that came back to haunt my brother! XD

I didn't really die. Language Arts is pretty easy. Worried about the Algebra though. Sruthi's friend told her it's really hard...

YAY! We can chew gum! Lol, everybody's bringing gum and sharing it with everybody else.

Why do we get so much time to do the STAR testing. Everybody finishes with almost an hour left and all we do is chat the rest of the time.

I raced Dyan to see who could complete the sudoku puzzle fastest. I won bigtime. =D

This is really off topic but it was hot again so yesterday, my mom made me go shopping for shorts for like 3 hours.

i hate titles...

K, i haven't posted in a long time cuz i've been busy with school and all that stuffz.

STAR testing on wednesday. I WILL DIE! we were preparing in class and i got 2 wrong out of around 50. that's an average of 96% even when i'm not stressed! i will die!

UMMMM, UMMMMM, UMMMM. I DISCOVERED A REALLY COOL SITE! WANNA SEE IT? WANNA SEE IT? there is none.

freaking heat...

SATURDAY, SUNDAY, AND TODAY WERE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOT! on sunday, i had to go to this cancer research meeting thing (both my parents work with that stuff). AND children weren't allowed so i had to sit outside in the FREAKING SUNSHINE while my parents were inside with the FREAKING AIR CONDITIONING and the FREAKING FREE COLD DRINKS! NOT FAIR!

first day back from spring break and i am dead tired. why do we have to learn so much on the FIRST day? and why does it have to be SO HOT!?!?!?!?!

for example: math, continous workbook problems. we had to think the whole time!

orchestra: new pieces, you have to think about them before you sight read. its not like usual where you just play almost naturally
at least it was really cold in the band room... *sighs in happiness*

EVEN DURING LUNCH! we had a fire drill out on the FREAKING FIELD with the FREAKING SUN. and dyan and i had to plan out how to get to the most trash cans in the time left. (if you don't understand go to the ecofuture website link and click on recycling)

Why do I have to have a title? I can't think up all these titles!

Tooth fell out last night. My brother got freaked out cuz there was a bunch of blood. =D. I know its kinda weird (especially to people like dyan who lose all their teeth by third grade) that i still have baby teeth but THAT WAS MY LAST ONE!

We, aka my brother and I, had to do photos for our new passports. Why can't i use my old baby photo? Then nobody can laugh and say I like horrible! But no, I have to take a new one that costs a bunch of money ($80 for those who want to know) and I can't even have another one taken cuz it sucked. And yeah, my parents get to take their photos by themselves. Real nice.

Piano lesson today. Im gonna die.

I have no idea what to do today so I'm blogging again.

I changed the blog background (i think you might have noticed). It's a little
manga-ish but it still looks cool. yes, it's called fallen angel. but it's true i'm a fallen angel. maybe i'll post about it one day...

Ok, you don't need to read this paragraph but its a reminder to myself (i'm very forgetful as many of my friends will know) to tell bunni (no that is not her real name) to add one can i found while walking home on friday. Big waste of space but how else am I supposed to remember?

I have to work on math. My mom wants me to do half a chapter in the math textbook in one day!

Which reminds me, I should be doing that instead of blogging.

Hi, once again

This is my THIRD blog because I never updated the other two so I'm hoping I"ll remember on this one.

It's Spring Break! Hooray! I've got nothing to do! Just gonna fool around online the whole time I guess.

My brother's bothering me about Harry Potter and playing with him. Hasn't that ever happened with you?

Since I'm not doing anything today, yesterday we, aka my family, went to the science fair. And my dad had me study the winning person for 30 MINUTES OR SO! I died.

After that we went to the zoo and looked at all the polar bears. *Stares. Blinks. Stares.*
