well, everybody's saying how DN's all prettyful and such
i really wish i coulda gone and seen and done the tours but i have piano on thursdays :(
but i can't wait to see it
all my tour guide friends'll give me the tour and we'll find the future asian alley together! :D

it's HIGH SCHOOL
hahaha, i remember i felt the exact same way in fifth grade
i was all: it's MIDDLE SCHOOL
and now it's not that big of a deal
once i'm a sophomore i'll look back and go: ahhh, i was so foolish and naive back then
but right now...i can't help but be excited
i don't care if i'm gonna turn all grownupy, i'm having too much fun right now.
i'm like that...living in the moment

at the same time...i don't want to leave OV. all my 7th grade friends are here and all the teachers and all the funny incidents and all the sad memories...
there's a lot associated with this place.
ah well, living in the moment, appreciate it while it lasts...
i'm gonna make the rest of 8th grade the happiest months of my life
and what if a bunch of depressing stuff happens, you ask?
well i say: it just depends on how you look at it.

so...today was pretty normal

PE: three laps around the track...was trying to keep up with jenny...why do you have to be so fast? and then whiffleball. my team lost by ONE point. ugh, its all my fault. if i'd actually thrown the ball to eunji instead of over her we could have gotten an out. and if i'd thrown further when i was throwing to joyce we could've tied. so mad at myself...
lawl, coach sheehan was singing head, shoulders, knees, and toes. so me, momo, amy, and eunji(?) were all STARING at him. and he got it stuck in my head. :D

Orchestra: bunch of sight reading. how boring. and then chamber...still pretty boring.

LA Workshop: presentation D: i guess it went pretty well. lawl, in the beginning, mrs. garrison was all: "i can't hear you!"

LA: oh dear...team building...spider web...awkwardness.
i had to go through one of the top holes. originally, i was supposed to go through the tiny triangular one at the very top but i guess everybody forgot and didn't want to lift me that high. it was...slightly weird...no details...

ahahahaha, after school, i went to dyan's house. and we ate brownies! tons of chocolate in it. then we checked margaret's email (XD don't ask) and studied for bio process lab. or she went over the tests. i sat in a chair trying to make all her gel pens line up. i'm sorry for being a perfectionist. i can't help it.
so after we video chatted with alina for a while, we looked at some disease detectives glossaries. how the heck are we supposed to memorize all that?
lol, then we went on blogthings and took random quizzes. it was meant to be a short break but...
haha, Dyan's a thin mint. :D
then jungwoo called and listened to us taking a bunch of the quizzes and i think he got a bit creeped out. maybe cuz we started singing after we took the karaoke song quiz... (lawl, dyan's song is "since you been gone" by kelly clarkson.)

my very confusing week

grrr, my printer's being stupid
there's not enough ink so my awesome nazi symbol printed out with half of it black and half of it white
it looks weird...
and now i have to fill in the white part with colored pencil.
ewwww, i don't want to do that...

oh well, at least i have all my poetry done.
i finished it yesterday so no stressing for me. :)
but i have to present my bio project tomorrow...
ugh. i hate presentations.

on a happier note, i did really well in CM!
96% on theory and honors on the performance!
oh yes. :)

but then...ecofuture didn't win PEYA. :(.
we still get certificates with Obama's signature but...
it would've been so cool to meet him.

another happy point: i'm going to state for science olympiad!
hahaha, nobody from bio process lab (except for me) is going so i have to teach dyan everything
and we're together in disease detectives too. IN YOUR FACE YOUNGWOO!
and then i've been dragged into science crime busters with margaret so if we fail, it's probably going to be my fault.

awww, ashley and i've been bumped down to second violin in chamber orchestra
and i've been trying to challenge conrad for the past...month? but ms. lazzari's not doing challenges anymore. which is completely against the point of having challenges and seeing as she's not having another chair placement...

we're having the benefit concert soon! we get to play Bailes. french songs almost always sound cool. idk, it's just something i've noticed.
and everybody's gonna be doing solos. eunji, i am NOT singing, no matter what.
probably gonna be accompanying bunch of people on piano.

mixed feelings about that. i'd love to help but...i'm already dying in piano and my teacher's really mad at me for not doing anything this week cuz i was working on the projects.
and i'm trying to learn chopin's fantasie-impromptu and beethoven's pathetique, second movement at the same and one of them has four sharps and the other has four flats. and they're both about two levels above mine and i really don't have time and i hate my hands, they're so small!
haha, i know, random.

very turbulent week. lots of ups and downs. as demonstrated. i'm so bored. trying to put off coloring in my nazi symbol...ugh.

so...this was my day...cuz i was feeling bored...and i'm procastinating
morning:
got up at like 9. stayed in bed for 30 minutes cuz i didn't want to get up
spent an hour trying to decide whether to study theory, practice piano, do chinese hw, work on bio project, or work on poetry project
decided to read the diary of anne frank again cuz i was working on poetry
had lunch

afternoon:
practiced piano
helped brother with homework
wrote a paragraph for bio project
started procastinating
and...here i am!

2 more hours till my parents get home and i'm fairly sure i will have wasted the entire day. except for that one paragraph. wish me luck when they figure it out...

we had STARBUCKS, it was gooooooood. i got hyper off the sugar....

okay, so...today i had this field trip for chinese school that all the credit classes had to go to.
and we headed over to this place like right next to 99 and we had to sit down and listen to a lecture about...tea.
i don't get it, how can one person talk about tea for 3 whole hours?
he's not even asian but he's all: "ahhh, this is good tea; what a sweet aftertaste, isn't this so much better than coffee?" while i'm all: *gag*

i mean...tea's okay...when you have sugar...and boba
but this was TRADITIONAL tea. the type that's either really bitter or really bland. the type they serve at chinese restaurants.

and he was lecturing about it and how tea's made and the difference between green and black and oolong tea and fermentation and history and...
oh, and i have to write an essay about it for chinese school next week. grrrr

just because i have a whole week of break does NOT mean that i can do anything, people.
i still have to study for the tests i missed, the biography project, poetry...

science olympiad!

it was a beautiful day.
sprinkling on and off the whole time.
when it's on...i love the rain.
and when its off...the sky was really pretty.
anywayz...
ahahaha, it was fun.
but i'm so tired now....
so...my dad was being all forgetful and went to the parking lot at RBHS and i'm like: "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO DROP ME OFF!" and so...he let me off at the sidewalk and i walked the rest of the way with margaret. and then we got lost cuz we couldn't find anybody. and then jess and sruthi came.
bio process and disease detectives went okayish.
and then i had an hour until anatomy so i was walking around with...dyan, margaret, stephenie, zach, and brenda. and we went to westview's place and stole cup noodles! they were good... and margaret thought we had anatomy 10 minutes before we actually did so we had to throw away the soup. :(.
so, in anatomy, i DIED. i left 3 questions blank and i guessed on more than half. D: so...after that shinali didn't show up so i went to do pentathlon. and it was hilarious, me and nithish didn't even know we were going to be doing it until 5 minutes before but we still did pretty well. :).
LUNCH! really long line so i waited and by the time i got to the food...it was all gone. :(. i only had 1 1/2 breadsticks.
then...it started raining and me and dyan got soaked. we were standing on the benches and rocking it and singing evanescence songs. XD.
so, after that we tried to stay out of the rain cuz our mom's were gonna yell at us but... :D
then...award ceremony!
9th place in bio process! how nice...
14th place in anatomy! SHOCKED. i didn't even finish it!
9th place in disease detectives! i would be happy but youngwoo beat me. D:, how did that happen?
yep, two 9th places... and the medals were...PINK! D:
then i had to leave before they announced the school places cuz my chinese teacher was about ready to murder me.

gah, i'm so pathetic...a fwd just made me depressed :(

yesterday was the chinese new year thing
it was pretty boring. i had to work at my class' booth for 2 hours and then i went and bought a bunch of food right before they lowered prices. :P.

then...we had class and we were doing these poetry recitations for this competition and the teacher bought some boba for us and i spilled it at least 5 times.

and we got held after class, and my dad got pissed cuz he was waiting for me. and then i went to eunji's birthday party!
it was pretty fun...got locked out on the balcony at least twice. and the food was good. :D. watched lakeview terrace...it was kinda weird. like...no plot... and haram was messing with my hair. i ended up with a side ponytail D: hahaha, i took it out as soon as she left. sorry haram. :)

so...today i had a piano recital!
it was okay...i was originally going to go last but then my teacher saw i brought my brother and she made me go first so that he would leave. :D ahhh, i messed up twice. my mom'll never let me forget that.

and then we went to this supposedly fancy restaurant that wasn't so fancy after all. and everybody was staring at me and my dress. so i stared right back at them. XD
