dc trip= sleep deprivation, starvation, and freezing
despite that, it was one of the awesomest weeks of my life
still, it didn't live up to my expectations
maybe it was cuz i have high standards
or maybe because i was too scared
there were so many things i coulda done
but i didn't :(
if you're a 7th grader...seriously, GO
but don't make the same mistakes that i did
anyway, here are the highlights:
-there was a DOG on the runway at the airport! it delayed us for liek, 15 minutes. it was hilarious! we could see it out of the window. there were police cars chasing it and then the police got out and tried to chase it on foot. that's one hyper doggy xD it was jumping around and running in circles :D
-in the hotel, the clock was one hour ahead. so me, ashley, momo, and eunji went to sleep an hour before lights out and had to get up an hour early! that's friggin 4:30
-went to a lot of war memorials and depressing museums. it was so sad...but it was still a good experience.
-dinner dance cruise thingamabob. it was kinda idiotic. there was a mob of dancing pplz and i was like: no way am i going in there. ended up outside most of the time. it was FREEZING COLD. but i couldn't hear myself inside so it was still an improvement
-top of the rock was beautiful. to anybody who doesn't know, that's when you get on top of a really tall building and you can see all of ny. and it was at night too. don't have any pics cuz my camera was being stupid but i can still see it when i close my eyes
-okay, so first morning in ny, the alarm clock rings right? so eunji, who happens to be the closest to the alarm clock, DOESN'T WAKE UP. and the three of us are wide awake and yelling at her but she STILL doesn't wake up. so i have to reach around and turn it off. we were all so pissed at her later
-it SNOWED. yes, it SNOWED we were on the ferry back from ellis island i caught a snowflake on my tongue. it was salty! isn't that awesome?
-right before the broadway play, we ate dinner at some supposedly "five star" restaurant. honestly, the food kinda sucked. the salad was SOUR, the rest of the food was too cheesy, and the cake was too sweet. but the play was really gooooooood. it's amazing how people can sing so LOUD :D
-we went through security checks 12 times! tons of museums...we had to go thru one for lunch too. it was crazy xD
that's pretty much it. it was TONS of fun. but the living condtions were horrible
i missed:
-my bed
-the smell of my house
-ASIAN FOOD
-all my awesome friendz :D
-my family
-piano
-internet
overall, it was a good trip
it ended way too soon. i wish i could've gone on forever
but in a way, certain aspects of it WILL go on forever
the friendship, the laughter, the memories
so to everybody that was there:
thank you for making it a week i'll NEVER forget
